Toriino LLC Privacy Policy for our website, mobile applications, and learning platform.
Effective Date: June 26, 2026
Toriino LLC ("Toriino," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you visit our website, use our mobile applications, join our waitlist, apply to become a teacher, mentor, coach, creator, expert, or partner, contact us, participate in live sessions, use AI-supported features, or use any Toriino services.
Toriino is a learning, teaching, mentorship, coaching, and opportunity platform designed to connect students, learners, teachers, mentors, coaches, creators, experts, organizations, and, in future phases, employers or training partners through courses, live sessions, cohorts, mentorship, conversation-based learning, digital resources, certificates, AI-supported tools, and related services.
By accessing or using Toriino, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use Toriino.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of Toriino, from other users or organizations, and from third-party services that help us operate the platform.
Information you provide may include your name, email address, phone number, account login information, profile details, role selection, learning interests, teaching interests, mentorship topics, experience, qualifications, form responses, messages, support requests, payment-related information, course content, session materials, notes, resources, files, and any other information you choose to provide.
If you use Toriino as a student or learner, we may collect information about courses, cohorts, programs, sessions, teachers, mentors, coaches, or experts you view, join, book, or purchase, along with learning goals, attendance, progress, certificates, questions, feedback, and AI-supported learning activity.
If you apply to teach, mentor, coach, create content, or provide services through Toriino, we may collect information about your skills, topics, services, background, qualifications, teaching style, pricing, payout information, public profile, and onboarding or verification information.
2. Organization, Employer, and Training Partner Information
In future phases, Toriino may allow companies, schools, organizations, teams, employers, training partners, or communities to create private spaces, training programs, cohorts, courses, interviews, onboarding programs, mentorship programs, or candidate-development pathways.
If you participate in an organization-sponsored space or program, we may collect and process information related to your organization membership, role, permissions, training participation, progress, certificates, assessments, messages, meetings, interview activity, mentorship sessions, feedback, evaluations, notes, and other program-related information.
Organization administrators may be able to access certain information related to their private organization spaces, including participation, progress, attendance, content, communications, and activity within that organization workspace, depending on the features and settings available.
3. Live Sessions, Recordings, Transcripts, and Communications
Toriino may offer live video, audio, chat, cohort, mentorship, coaching, interview, conversation, or meeting features.
Depending on the feature, settings, consent, and applicable law, we may collect or process audio recordings, video recordings, screen sharing, chat messages, transcripts, captions, session summaries, notes, questions, answers, attendance records, reactions, comments, feedback, and session metadata.
Where required, Toriino will provide notice and/or request consent before recording, transcribing, summarizing, or using live session content. If you do not want to be recorded or transcribed, do not join or continue participating in a session that is being recorded or transcribed.
Other participants may hear, see, read, or receive information you share during live sessions, chats, courses, or group programs. You should not share information you do not want other participants, teachers, mentors, coaches, organizations, or administrators to access.
4. AI-Supported Features and AI Knowledge Systems
Toriino may use artificial intelligence and machine-learning tools to support features such as meeting notes, session summaries, transcripts, course summaries, learning recommendations, mentorship recommendations, search, study support, AI chat, AI agents, progress insights, quality review, safety, moderation, content organization, knowledge retrieval, and customer support.
When you use AI-supported features, we may process information such as your profile, learning activity, course activity, messages, prompts, responses, session content, transcripts, files, and other relevant context to provide the feature.
Toriino may develop AI tools that help users ask questions about courses, sessions, meetings, recordings, transcripts, notes, and platform knowledge. Access to these tools may depend on your role, permissions, course enrollment, organization membership, consent settings, and applicable law.
Private content is not automatically treated as public knowledge. Unless otherwise disclosed and permitted, content from private sessions, private courses, private mentorship, private organization spaces, interviews, onboarding programs, or restricted programs is intended to remain limited to authorized users, administrators, service providers, and systems needed to provide the service.
Toriino may use content to provide user-specific notes, course-specific AI support, mentor-specific AI support, organization-specific AI support, search, retrieval, moderation, safety features, aggregated insights, de-identified insights, and broader platform knowledge features only when content is public, licensed, authorized, specifically opted in, or lawfully processed.
Toriino does not intend to use private personal conversations, private organization data, private employer data, or private session recordings for a general public AI knowledge product unless we have an appropriate legal basis, permission, license, consent, or de-identification process.
5. Payment and Payout Information
When Toriino offers paid courses, paid sessions, subscriptions, digital products, platform fees, teacher payouts, mentor payouts, refunds, or other transactions, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe or similar providers.
We may collect and process transaction-related information, including billing details, purchase history, payment status, refund information, payout information, tax or compliance information, and identity verification information required for payments or payouts.
We do not intend to store full credit card numbers on Toriino servers. Payment processors may collect and process payment and payout information according to their own privacy policies and legal requirements.

When you use Toriino, we and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, app version, device type, referring URLs, pages or screens viewed, features used, clicks, interactions, usage events, date and time of activity, approximate location based on IP address, crash reports, diagnostics, performance data, security logs, cookies, local storage, and similar technologies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.
At this time, Toriino does not intend to sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.
10. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Toriino, operate our business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and improve our services.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the reason we collected it, user settings, legal requirements, and operational needs.

Payment, tax, and transaction records may be retained as required by law. Security logs may be retained to protect the platform.
You may request deletion of your information by contacting us. We may deny or limit deletion requests where retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, contractual, operational, or legitimate business reasons.
Deletion of personal information may not remove de-identified, aggregated, anonymized, or backup data that is not reasonably associated with you. It also may not remove information already shared with other users, organizations, instructors, mentors, service providers, or third parties, except where required by law.
11. De-Identified and Aggregated Information
We may create and use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, AI-supported features, business insights, safety, quality improvement, and other lawful purposes.
We will not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except where permitted by law, such as to test whether our de-identification processes are effective.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no website, mobile app, platform, storage system, AI system, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account.

AI-supported features may generate summaries, recommendations, insights, or responses based on available data. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate.
Toriino may use AI to assist with learning, mentorship, coaching, organization, search, and support, but AI outputs should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, employment, or educational guarantees.
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs and making your own decisions.
